Kaylieanna Sanders (left) and Victoria Jenkins deliver a flood bucket to the United Methodist Center in San Antonio July 12. Children at The Rock UMC, Cedar Park, assembled four flood buckets during their “Ramp Up for Christ” mission camp. The Southwest Texas Conference issued a call for buckets filled with cleaning supplies in early July. Flooding had affected areas in Burnet, Starr and Victoria counties. Additional flooding was reported mid month in Bandera, Guadalupe, Lampasas, Medina, Karnes, Kerr, Uvalde and Wilson counties as well as the Rio Grande Valley. More than 40 buckets had been dropped off at the United Methodist Center as of July 20.
